Fall Finds

A book I picked up recently lists several hikes from a trusted source- Epic Hikes of the Americas by Lonely Planet provides lots of information for hikers of all levels.

The Dainty Pear in Midway, UT is my new happy place- a charming shop with lots of great finds and a newly opened cafe, The Olive Press Cafe, that I'm eager to try.

Last week I traveled to beautiful Santa Barbra, CA, and will definitely be back with grandkids someday. Some activities to check out include:

• Santa Barbra Zoo

• Lotusland- beautiful gardens to explore, and they have a Halloween Party in October

• Lil' Toot Water Taxi- 25 minute rides between Sterns Wharf to Santa Barbra every hour

• Ellewood Bluffs Hike- in nearby Goleta, a beautiful hike, which includes a monarch butterfly migration from November-February
