Kids love to make cookies. From mixing the ingredients, to rolling out the dough and decorating their creations, it's a fun way to let them get creative and enjoy a winter's day. Clear the table, fill it with everything they'll need (bowls, ingredients, cookie cutters and lots and lots of icing and sprinkles), and worry about cleaning up the mess later! The most basic sugar cookie dough recipes seem to work the best. We've been using Betty Crocker's recipe since I was a kid.
