Pack a lunch, grab a blanket and get outside. Whether in your yard, at a park, by a lake or at the beach, kids love to eat outside. We've put together a few edible ideas for what to pack for a fun outside meal!
Choose snacks that can be eaten cool or at room temperature, with minimal risk of spoiling. Don't forget about drinks to stay hydrated while out in the sun. In addition to being reusable, water bottles like Hydroflask keep drinks cool and fresh and are available in a variety of sizes and colors.
Fruits are a healthy option to pack for a picnic. Grapes, apples, mandarins, strawberries, and watermelon cubes are all refreshing, easy to pack options that are popular with little ones. Chicken tenders and peanut butter wraps hold up well in a cooler, and cookies and granola bars are great to bring along, too! They're individual servings and don't take up a lot of space.
Summer goes by quickly. Pack up and get outside!
