To tie in to our All Things Apple theme this week, we have 2 yummy apple-centric options.
Apple Hand Pies
These can be made very easily, with store bought ingredients, or you can make a crust and apple pie filling yourself using any family recipe and form the little pies by hand.. For today, we’re taking the super easy route.
Step 1: Take a rolled out, pre-made pie crust, place it in a hand pie mold (like these from Williams-Sonoma).
Step 2: Fill with a pre-made apple pie filling from the store, fold, and remove from mold.
Step 3: Bake on a sheet pan according to instructions that come with the molds. The end result is the same; tasty, hand held little apple pies!
Easy Apple Cider Honey Muffins
We have been big fans of Half Baked Harvest in our house for years. Every recipe we’ve ever made from Tieghan Gerard’s cookbooks or Weekly Recipe Round-Ups do not disappoint, and these are no exception. Delicious and easy to make, these little muffins were a big hit!
