Out and About

This weekend we stopped in Folklore Bookstore in Midway, UT. This adorable, locally owned establishment was cozy, with a great selection of books for all ages.; I found the "blind date with a book" concept too cute to pass by and bought a couple for stocking stuffers. The idea is to purchase a wrapped book in the genre of your choice (young adult, fiction, historical fiction, mystery, etc.) but without knowing the exact book title. The packaging includes other related items, like a pen, bookmark and tea.

Cool November weather calls for building a blanket fort for a fun evening activity with the kids. Relatively easy to "construct" for your little people, with blankets you have on hand, and they love a cozy nook play and snack and hang out. Let your imagination run wild with the design, as easy or elaborate as you'd like!
