It wouldn’t be fall without a trip to the apple orchard. Kids love running through the fields and picking apples right from the trees. Head to your favorite orchard and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors.

Here’s a couple of suggestions, if you're in the area:

  1. Stuckey Farms

Hamilton County, IN fixture, Stuckey Farms had been a go to for our family for the years we lived in Carmel. They have 5,000 trees with 38 varieties of apples, a market, a beehive to watch the honeybees at work, and delicious apple cider slushees. Go early, it gets busy.

  1. Lyman Orchards

Middlefield, CT  This farm has been in business and run by the same family since 1741!! 30 varieties of apples, a market, and a corn AND sunflower maze. If you don’t want to make your own pie from the apples you pick, they have ones to purchase in their apple barrel bakery.
