It goes without saying that a mug full of hot chocolate topped with marshmallows is a much appreciated treat during the holidays. You can make it as simple as purchasing your favorite mix and marshmallows at the store, or you can turn it in to an activity with your little ones by mixing up your own coco and making homemade marshmallows. While your at it, consider setting up a hot cocoa bar...with a carafe of cocoa along with mugs and containers of favorite toppings (marshmallows, candy canes, sprinkles, cinnamon sticks, chocolate shavings, cans of whipped cream-a very popular and messy option!), any way you choose, it's a win/win with this treat!
